Does this transcribe the audio with AI?

No. This version downloads the subtitle track that YouTube already exposes for the video when one is available.

Can I choose the language?

Yes. If the video exposes multiple subtitle languages, you can pick which transcript track to fetch.

What if the video has no captions?

Then the tool cannot return a transcript yet. This version does not fall back to AI transcription.

Can I download the transcript?

Yes. After the transcript is prepared you can download it as a text file with timestamps.
