How do I get the transcript of a YouTube video?

Are transcripts available for all YouTube videos?
Transcripts are available for any YouTube video that has a subtitle track — either manually uploaded by the creator or auto-generated by YouTube. Videos without captions will not return a transcript.
Can I get a transcript without timestamps?
Yes. Toggle the Timestamps checkbox off in the transcript panel to get clean, flowing text without the time markers.
What's the difference between this and YouTube's built-in transcript?
