Frequently asked questions
Clear answers to get you started fast.
Can it remove subtitles that Facebook auto-generated?
Yes, as long as the captions are burned directly into the video file (hardcoded). Toggle-off captions on Facebook cannot be removed — only visible, embedded text can.
What other text overlays can it remove?
Any visible region you draw a box over — captions, subtitles, watermarks, usernames, timestamps, and lower-thirds.
Will the video quality be affected?
The AI reconstructs the removed area using surrounding frame data. Visual quality is preserved across the rest of the video.
Is there a video length limit?
Up to 1 minute 30 seconds. For longer Facebook videos, trim the relevant section first using Reclip's AI Clipper, then remove captions.
